Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, Lisa Willits has lived in Charleston, SC, for the last 20 years.  Following a job in the biomedical field, she transitioned to painting full time as a career in 2005.  She has been an exhibiting member of the Charleston Artist Guild since 2003 and is the current coordinator of Charleston Outdoor Painters Association (COPA).  She has taken many classes and workshops with well-known artists including Gavin Brooks, Chris Groves, Rhett Thurman & BillyO O'Donnell.  Her work can be found in collections both locally and nationally.

As an avid outdoor person, Lisa truly appreciates being surrounded by the natural beauty of the Lowcountry.   She and her husband Jeremy live downtown with their yellow lab, Abby & cat, Zeus.
